Beach Week is the most extreme experience you will have this summer!  Don’t miss out on extreme rec, basketball, beach volleyball, the ocean and late night events that will top off each day.

 

All of this is happening in Panama City Beach, FL and you don’t want to miss out on any of it.

 

Cost:

o Combo Package – In 2012 we are excited about our Move Weekend/Beach Week Comb package where you save money!  Signup by February 12 and get our combo package price!

o COMBO PACKAGE (MOVE WEEKEND & BEACH WEEK)

§ By Feb. 12 – Deposit $100.50 and Registration due

§ Mar. 25 – Payment of $75.00 due

§ Apr. 25 – Payment of $70.00 due

§ May 20 – Payment of $65.00 due

o BEACH WEEK ONLY

§ By Mar. 4 – Deposit of $100 and Registration due

§ Apr. 25 – Payment of $75

§ May 20 – Payment of $60

§ June 17 – Payment of $50

A nonrefundable deposit must accompany your registration.  The entire balance is due by June 17.  Bring your completed forms with your check to the Family Ministry Office. Your cost covers chartered bus, camp t-shirt, room, all meals at camp and great nightly programming.

 

Band:

Chuck Hooten will be joining us again to lead Beach Week in worship.  His passion for the Lord will challenge and encourage you as he leads us to the foot of the cross each day.

 

Speaker:

Wade Morris is the author and founder of The Journey, which is an expository Bible study on CD.  Wade combines sound Biblical truth, insight into the Word, and humor to make his teachings effective.  This combination allows him to not only evangelize those outside the church, but also deepen the faith of the believer.

 

 

What to bring:

Swimsuit - MODEST one piece swimsuits or FULL LENGTH/ FULL COVERAGE tankini, NO BIKINIS!

Sandals/flip flops

Sunscreen – suggest a higher spf for the protection of your student’s skin.

Towels – suggest 1 for showering and 1 for beach.

Toiletries - soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant and wash cloth.

Pillow and Sleeping bag/bed roll or flat twin bed sheets

Water Bottle

Shower Shoes – optional

Clothes:

o   Casual comfortable clothes for beach/recreation activities – No Soffee shorts

o   ‘Finger tip’ rule is in effect for all shorts.  This is that you put your arms down and shorts are no shorter than where your finger tips hit your legs.

o   Modest clothing

Spending money for:

o   meals on the road - 4 total (lunch and dinner going and returning)

o   snacks and drink machines – 1’s and change

o   merchandise from speaker/band

Bible, pen, notebook

Camera

iPods and MP3 players are for bus ride (we will be taking up these items upon arrival in Panama City Beach).

Cell phones, iPods and MP3 players ARE permitted ONLY on the bus trip down & back. Phones may be checked out at camp during Free Time to be used in a designated area ONLY and must be checked back in after use or end of Free Time, NO EXECPTIONS!  First Baptist will not be responsible for any damaged, abused, lost or stolen phones, iPods or MP3 players not turned in when we arrive in Panama City Beach.  Any of these items not turned in when requested will be taken up and returned to a PARENT upon arrive in Cabot, NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

Leave at home:

Two-piece or Speedo swimsuit

Soffee shorts or short shorts

See-through clothing

Drug/alcohol

Fireworks

Weapons

PSP, DS or any other gaming system

 

Important:

There is a mandatory meeting for ONE PARENT on June 17 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the FAMILY LIFE CENTER. Final payment must be made by or at this meeting.
