Thank You Note from a FBC Cabot USAF Senior Airman deployed to Afghanistan.
Thank you so much for the care package. I was just thinking yesterday of all the random little things that would make life just a little easier and more enjoyable. I definitely got excited seeing a bulging box sitting on my chair waiting for me when I got back in the office. It makes me so happy when I hear my wife say that our church supports me being over here and to physically see your support just motivates me that much more to share the good news with my team mates and with the local populace. It’s been hard to come up with ways to tell the locals about Christ due to the language barrier and time constraints, but having these tracts are awesome. I only wish you guys sent more my way. Thank you again for your support and constant prayers. I never would’ve thought I would need so much of it. Keep it up.

Thank You Note from a FBC Cabot Marine Sgt deployed to Afghanistan.
Dear FBC
I would like to thank you and the church for the box of good stuff. I shared everything with my Marines who were very thankful. When we receive boxes in the mail out here it’s true morale booster and for me it’s a reminder that America still has true Americans who remember and support.
Mr. Hooper is a true friend to me and I see him as a part of my family. Through him I’ve become closer to the Lord and although hard at times, especially in my line of work, I’ve been learning how to live my life under his Word. I’ve been reading all the books he’s sent that has allowed me to better understand and pass along the Word. When our Marines go out they ask me to pray for them in a group just before. In your letter you asked if there is anything you can send. There is one thing. Please send this message to your church. I know that everyone at First Baptist Church prays for us service members proudly serving, especially here in the combat zone. I know because I’ve seen your prayers answered first hand. I’ve seen the Lord’s work out here and even though he’s called on some of us to serve by his side, I’ve also seen him give new light to those in need.
Thanks for everything

Please pass on our sincere appreciation to the FBC family for the generous care pkg filled with goodies. As you know, it's not easy being away from family during this time of year so every little touch of home helps. We'll ensure these items get out to as many people as possible!
Thanks again.
Take care,

Thank You Note from a USAF CMSgt deployed to Haiti
I really got to tell you that you all have put
some serious smiles on a
whole bunch of Airman, Soldiers, Sailors and a few other nations that
are doing God's work in an austere environment to help the people of
Haiti. These items were a great hit and everyone actually wanted to
thank me, when all the thanks belongs to you and the others that sent us
these needed gifts. I will be sending some pictures your way and some
letters of thank you for such a gracious gift. God Bless everyone that
had a hand in this.
Thank you!

Thank You Note from a deployed Airman
Hey everyone,
I just received a care package from you all, and wanted to say thank
you! It was a real nice surprise when it arrived, and the majority of
the food inside is already gone. Thank you so much for all your
support, and I look forward to seeing you all when I come home.
Sincerely,

Thank You Note from a US Marine deployed to Afghanistan
I just wanted to let you know that I received the package that you
and your team put together for me. It did make it here before Christmas
came. Packages are a nice thing to get from back home when your gone,
but this one was a big surprise. It is very nice to know people are
thinking of us back home and want to show their support. I shared the
contents with the people I work with, and also the Christmas cards that
came with it. Everyone enjoyed all the snacks and reading the cards.
It is hard to explain what is like to be so far away from home during
the holidays, but the "Christmas" feeling that we're so used to doesn't
exist here. Packages like the one you guys sent brings a little bit of
that to this side of the world, but the best part is the thought and the
time it took to prepare it. For me, it reminds me that what were doing
here doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated, but it is also a reminder
of what kind of place we will soon get to come back to. Once again, I
can't thank you enough for the care package! Please tell everyone that
was involved how much we appreciate the time and effort and the thought
that went into putting together this package.
