FSM Move Weekend
Are you or your students signed up for Move Weekend, previously called DNOW? Move Weekend will be the four most intense days of this year! Your student and their friends will have a new home for the weekend, a beastly college leader and the hook up on food. Sign up deadline is TODAY so make sure to sign up this morning! You can do so either by going by the Family Ministry Office and using one of the envelopes or going to www.fbccabot.org/moveweekend, registration is $65. You don’t want your student to miss out on this awesome weekend!
New Beginnings: Women's Health
Our health is our most precious gift. When we feel well, we embrace life, and life is good! Saturday, February 27th, is the 2nd session of our 4-part series on women’s health entitled "Love Your Heart." We will provide a cholesterol screening, door prizes and refreshments. Middle School Ministry Spring Retreat
The registration deadline for "Weekend of the Stars" spring retreat is NEXT Sunday. Middle School Spring Retreat will be March 12-14 at Camp Winnamocka (outside Arkadelphia). The full cost of $80 is due next Sunday. Cost includes transportation, lodging, t-shirt, activities and five meals. I’m a Christian Now Class
The next session for I’m A Christian Now Children’s Class for new believers will be March 7 & 14 from 5:15-6:15 p.m. in Room 245. Parents are encouraged to attend the beginning of the first session for an overview of the class. To sign up and for more information on the class, contact the Preschool/Children’s Office at 843-5472.
Help Needed
Is the Lord calling you to a place of service? The Preschool, Children and Student Ministry are in need of teachers. Our Preschool needs teachers during the 10:30 hour: Walkers, Toddlers (2 classes), Two’s and Kindergarten (2 classes) and Children’s Ministry needs teachers for 3rd & 4th grade during second hour. The Student Ministry is in need of teachers to help co-lead LifeGroups, small groups of students on Sunday mornings. If you are interested in sharing the love of Jesus with children or students in our church, please contact Kim Robinson or Caroline Raines in the Family Ministry Office.

Mommy and Me will be tomorrow, February 22nd, at Chuck E Cheese in North Little Rock from 11 AM until 1PM. If you would like to ride the church vehicle, please meet at the church no later than 10:30 AM. Cost will be $5, which includes 2 slices of pizza, drink and 16 game tokens.
Wednesday morning Women’s Bible Study is in need of ladies who will watch some precious children in order for their moms to study God’s Word. This would be a paid position and the hours are 9:00-11:30am. If you are interested, please contact Kim Robinson in the Preschool/Children’s Office at 843-5472.
CDL Drivers Needed. Plans are underway for summer activities for the children and the Children’s Ministry is in need of CDL drivers who can help drive the church bus to these events. If you have a CDL license and would be willing to help in this area of Children’s Ministry, please contact Kim Robinson in the Preschool/Children’s Office.
Calling all Preschool Teachers & VIP’s! There will be a mandatory meeting for all preschool teachers and volunteers in preschool (VIP) on Sunday, March 7, in the Chapel. Please choose one of the two following times to attend the meeting – 9:00am or 10:15am. The meeting will only be a half hour so you can still make it to your Life group or worship service. If you are scheduled to teach/volunteer, please attend the meeting that does not conflict with your teaching/volunteering time. Please call the Preschool/Children’s Office if you have any questions. Please make every effort to attend this mandatory meeting. Thank you.
The Women on Mission Priscilla Group will meet at Carol Ann Bush’s home on March 2, 2010, 6:00 p.m. We invite all ladies to join us for a Salad Supper, (bring salad or dessert). • HAITI. BUCKETS OF HOPE PROJECT – Stop by the Ministry Center or go to www.namb.net/BUCKETSofHOPE for details. We will receive these buckets through March 14. A great project for your SS class or small group.
• HAITI MISSION VOLUNTEERS - Volunteer teams will be needed in the months ahead for projects in Haiti (Medical personnel are needed now). Check out Pastor Greg’s blog for more information or go to www.absc.org/haiti.

FIRST C.A.R.E. MINISTRY – Volunteers are a vital part of our benevolence ministry. We need more volunteers in the clothing area who are available to sort and distribute items for several hours one day a week. Don’t forget that this ministry depends on your contributions to our benevolence offering collected at the end of today’s worship services.
