April 12-15, 2012

OWN

Move is more than a weekend in April – it is the most intense four days of the year!  You & friends will stay in another home for the weekend with a beastly college leader & the hookup on food.  Move is for all 7-12 graders; registration deadline is April 4th.  Click here to download registration.

What is OWN all about?  If you look around the world today you notice that everywhere you look it seems that there is a sense of entitlement.  However, when it comes to the church in particularly individual relationships with Jesus Christ there seems to be a lack of ownership.  This year's theme will challenge each of to OWN our relationship with Jesus Christ and not rely on our friends, LifeGroup Shepherd, parents, pastor or anyone else.  The things we OWN we tend to be more passionate about, this year's key verse is 2 Timothy 3:14-17

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

What can you expect out of the weekend?  More fun than is allowed anywhere else in Cabot.  There will be some extreme recreation and a chance for your group to showcase some beastly skills.  Move Weekend will have you eating more, laughing more, searching more, learning more, and be challenged to see God more than ever before.  You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to Move!
