Who We Are

Both welcoming and exciting, First Baptist Church of Cabot is truly a special place for worship and for growth in your Christian faith.
Only minutes away from Little Rock, Cabot is a growing bedroom community that has consistently attracted young families over the years.
Everything we do at First is about family, from children and student ministries to coming alongside parents in helping make Christ the center of our homes.
With an intentional and multi-generational purpose, we also offer two unique worship experiences. Not surprisingly,
this focus has caused FBC Cabot to become a regional church for the residents of close-by communities like Ward, Austin, and Beebe –
but also for those living within a 30-minute drive in any direction, from Little Rock to Des Arc to Vilonia and beyond.

The Mission

The mission of the First Baptist Church of Cabot is taken directly from Matthew 28:18-20. “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”

The Vision

Because the New Testament says that the church is the bride of Christ, the church belongs to Him. We are not free to change the mission, but churches often have different expressions of their unique vision - the "what and how” of they plan to carry out that God-given mission.
Our unique vision is to be the best church for Cabot by engaging our friends and community in real relationships that ultimately allow for spiritual conversations, personal testimonies, and sharing the Good News of Jesus' offer of forgiveness of sins and eternal life with Him.
Since we believe that vibrant Christians are essential in sharing the Good News, we strive to provide Sunday morning worship experiences that both inspire and excite believers from every walk of life, Sunday morning LifeGroups that help us grow spiritually and minister to each other on a more intimate one-to-one level, and discipleship opportunities that invite the believer to experience short-term intensive Bible study and personal growth.
We also believe God has called us to look beyond our local church field and carry Jesus' message of forgiveness and eternal life to all the nations. This call from God demands more than just supporting missionaries through financial gifts. We are not merely interested in missions giving but in missions going. We are engaged in praying, giving, and going through partnerships with church planters and missionaries both locally  and overseas.
